Our Youth Services Department serves children from birth through 6th grade. We provide:

  • Early literacy classes for children ages 4 months through age 5 and their families
  • Drop-in Saturday family early literacy classes, including bilingual Spanish/English
  • STEAM classes such as Family Bots, Virtual Reality, and Pint-Sized Picassos
  • Book clubs for grades K-6
  • After-school classes and events for grades K-6
  • READ to the Dogs events for young readers
  • Special events for children and families
  • Outreach visits to area preschools, elementary and junior high schools
  • Library tours for scouting and other groups 
  • Homework resources such as Tutor.com                                            

Our Adult & Teen Services Department serves youth from 6th grade through high school. We provide:

  • After Hours gaming events
  • Technology classes
  • Special events for teens and young adults
  • Digital services that include college test prep for SAT or ACT exams.
  • Annual poetry and art contests
  • A safe space for teens of all nationalities, sexualities, and gender identities with inclusive programming.
  • Year-round volunteer opportunities in Youth Services
